Last week, I was invited to be a part of Story Hour, hosted by Daniel Marcus and Laura Blackwell. It was a blast and I look forward to coming back to read something new soon! Last week, I read "Black Fanged Thing," which Laura helped edit back when it came out in Shimmer magazine.

Check out the reading below, and tune in each Wednesday for Story Hour!

It's officially here! The twelfth volume of Ellen Datlow's Best Horror of the Year is now available to purchase from Amazon. But why would you purchase it? Well, not only does it have some killer work by some of my favorite authors (and "Butcher's Table" by Nathan Ballingrud is a must-read), but this volume features my story "My Name Is Ellie." Ahh! I'm over the moon to have a piece of mine right next to all these incredible authors I admire. So if you have a minute, check out 2019's best horror here!

Hey hey! Very small news here, but I thought it at least worth mentioning that my story "Where the Babies Come From" is an honorable mention in the latest issue of Allegory Magazine! The other titles on this list of mentions all look wonderful (who wouldn't want to read "The Laughing Folk" or "Onion Witch"??), and I'm excited to be named alongside them. Allegory is also a very cool e-zine, if you're looking for some spec fic to read.

Beautiful weather today in NY, and I hope everyone enjoyed it, wherever y'all are.
